Ground Cardamom
Ground Cardamom has a sweet, freshing flavor that is reminiscent of mint along with herbal and floral notes. Very little cardamom is needed to impart flavor. When used correctly, it can create very complex flavor. It is particularly popular in savory Indian dishes, as well as baking in Nordic countries. It is often found in recipes that call for cinnamon and clove. It is a main ingredient in many chai and herbal teas, and pairs well with coffee, punches, mulled wine, meats, poultry, and shellfish.
