Poppy Seeds
Poppy seeds are the small, slate blue seeds of Papaver somniferum. The kidney shaped seeds have a nutty flavor that makes them great for baking. They are commonly used as a spice, garnish, condiment, or a thickener. They come from Australia as well as the Netherlands and Turkey.
